The perfect gift.
Buy a cheep glass vase (Walmart or even the $1 store), collect sticks for a woodsy area, break into even sizes, hot glue ( or a more secure glue) the sticks to vase, add a nice ribbon, and there you go. CHEAP, EASY, EFFECTIVE :)

Penguins!
Use TP roll for body and egg carton “cup” as the head. Paint and add construction paper beak and feet and googly eyes. Adorable :)
DINO FEET!!!
Use top of egg carton as the base of the foot and the egg carton “cups” as the toes.
Super cute, super easy, and the kiddos loved making them!

Through the Looking Glass.
I’m sitting here staring at myself in the mirror. Not in a narcissistic or a judgmental way. I’m just looking. Looking into myself. The face I see in the mirror is comfortable, content and in its natural state. Sometimes I look at myself and see a face that’s not mine or doesn’t feel like it reflects what is going on inside. But that’s not the case today. Today, this face is mine. Today, I belong where I am. Today, I am balanced. Today, I am beautiful.

Life is a treasure hunt.
I was told just the other night, “If you have everything you need then you are rich. If you want more than you have, you are poor.”
I think we often get caught up in the need to be monetarily rich and forget that, in respect to happiness, the more we want the less rich our life is because we are always needing something more. Great riches can be obtained by anyone, anywhere.
